The 24 Hour Christmas Campaign

Starting on 1st December, Standing Tall will be out on the Birmingham streets around the clock every day up until Christmas Eve. We’ll be having conversations through the day and the night with people about homelessness and what Standing Tall is doing to reduce it.

We’ll be talking to people experiencing homelessness. We’ll be talking to business owners who are working with Standing Tall to create jobs for people going through tough times. We’ll also be talking to a wide range of people who all are passionate about reducing homelessness in Birmingham.

We’ll be filming these conversations around the clock and sharing them on our social media.

Through this campaign we’re working to raise at least £6000 to contribute to the first 3 month's living wage for 3 people moving off the Birmingham streets for good. 100% of your donation will go directly towards the living wage of these 3 individuals, moving their lives forward for the long term.

We have a number of living wage jobs ready in Construction, Hospitality and Manufacturing. We are working with individuals currently experiencing homelessness and matching them with the right opportunity. Standing Tall employs the individual for the first 3 months. From month 4, the business takes on the longer term employment of the individual, providing a truly sustainable solution for everyone involved.
