An Incredible Start

It’s been quite a week! Last Tuesday we launched our full website, we launched our 24 hour Christmas campaign and we featured on BBC Midlands Today.

We’re now on Day 8 of our 24 hour Christmas campaign. We’ve met with Joe Hudson, the CEO of Ibstock Bricks, Mo Moalim from Ashley Community Housing, watched the Choir with No Name practise in Cannon Hill Park and met Rev Gerard Goshawk from Six Ways Baptist Church in Erdington.

Later today we’re meeting Tara Tomes and we’ll be talking to other interesting people in the coming days before Christmas Day. 30 kind people have donated £2059 so far and we are committed to raise our £6000 target to enable 3 people to move off the Birmingham streets for good in the new year.

In addition to a job confirmed with Norton’s in Digbeth in March, we are also happy to be working with M Lambe Construction to enable an individual to start work in January.
