Turning loss into possibilities for the future

Standing Tall has worked with M Lambe Construction in Birmingham from the very start. Lambe’s, as a family business with 600 site operatives, have been committed to working with us authentically providing real stable employment for people who have been through tough times.

In 2022, Managing Director Michael Lambe and his family lost their brother Christy in tragic circumstances. Last year, they established the Christy Lambe Foundation to support Lambe’s work with organisations such as Standing Tall.

This year, the Christy Lambe Foundation is raising funds to help Standing Tall start operations in Derby and the East Midlands. This will allow us to help at least 15 people each year move off the streets in this part of the country and start fulfilling careers with responsible employers such as Lambe Construction.

We’re totally inspired by how Michael, his family and his business have turned such loss into possibilities for the future for people who have been through tough times.
